Day 1

Actually the point of all this is to grow in the Lord. I have given up THEfacebook.com for Lent. A lot of people would not really find that a difficult thing to do. I am NOT one of them. Facebook distracts me like nothing else and I am quite embarrassed to say so. Instead of homework: FACEBOOK. Instead of playing with the dog: FACEBOOK. Instead of listening when my husband talks to me: FACEBOOK.

I AM GOIN COLD TURKEY!! Forty days without that social networking. And the key is this: what will I replace it with?

MY RULES:

1) I will not even check my notifications.
2) I will not log on for lame excuses like "BUT STACEY HAD HER BABY AND I WANNA SEE PICS"
3) When I go on the computer and ALMOST type in facebook, I will instead fill up that moment with a prayer for my husband. I have got to start praying for him more. God has really put it on my heart that as a wife I should have my mind on my husband in a positive way and pray for him. SO THAT'S WHAT I WILL DO.
4) Instead of wasting my time on FB I will go play with the dog or open up the Bible. IF I CAN FIND THE THING.
